This song is written about and inspired by my immediate family. My mother, late father, and my brother. It represents the role each of us plays in our individual lives as we grow and absorb everyone and everything around us. In this phase of my life, I have grown to respect my family and all of those I have been lucky or unlucky enough to cross paths with, in a new way. I understand the roads we all travel are different and that I don't fit into any specific pocket of influence, rather I am "somewhere in between" all of the personalities, spirits, and souls. This realization provides a window to the radical empathy we all have the ability to feel for one another.
